Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alejandro Valverde kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Alejandro Valverde sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Berenguer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustín Saelices during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 12th minute of play forced Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Abelardo Berenguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Valverde in the 15th minute. Alejandro Valverde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Benino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Severino Benino notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abelardo Berenguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Luis Andino played forward. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Abelardo Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalie prevented a goal. Severino Benino struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético y Tiro Rqta. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Abelardo Berenguer in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Valverde came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Berenguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Abelardo Berenguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Maxi Rodríguez was substituted for Severino Benino. In the 60th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Berenguer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 64th minute, Alejandro Valverde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Valverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Alejandro Valverde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The Atlético y Tiro Rqta players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
