Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Puskás came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dávid Bihari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Kisnána MTK got a freekick which was hit by Dániel Nyitrai. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dávid Bihari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ádám Nemes in the 15th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes of play, Kisnána MTK's Ádám Nemes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Földesi in the 43rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Norbert Puskás made the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Simon Földesi sent off a good shot on target. Dávid Bihari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norbert Puskás. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Puskás in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Zénó Moravecz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kisnána MTK's Edvard Pihlberg was substituted for Norbert Puskás. The Kisnána MTK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mexico from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
