The FC Barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dezider Šindelka should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dezider Šindelka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Barcelona's Dragan Horčička slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Dezider Šindelka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

FC Barcelona's Blažej Janalík was substituted for Petr Kocek. Dezider Šindelka made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Axel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dezider Šindelka having to interfere. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. FC Barcelona's Dezider Šindelka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Barcelona's Dezider Šindelka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. 陶彬伟 hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Dezider Šindelka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Mastache. In the 88th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslav Lacko to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Pirok in the 96th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
