When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Augusto do Vale. In the 71st minute Alberto Gisbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Augusto do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
