Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necaettin İlseven in the 3rd minute of the match. Kuncho Agüero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. With his leg Marcos Cotilla managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Firmat Foot Ball Club's Kuncho Agüero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Haroldo Maju scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Haroldo Maju showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Necaettin İlseven. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Romo in the 27th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Maju in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Firmat Foot Ball Club's Kuncho Agüero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Sesuldo having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Maju came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The wind increased when Haroldo Maju made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Maju in the 51st minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Maju in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Haroldo Maju cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Firmat Foot Ball Club booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Kuncho Agüero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Rogelio Romo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Firmat Foot Ball Club made a substitution. Paulino Nesto replaced Haroldo Maju. In the 84th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Prata in the 86th minute of play. Firmat Foot Ball Club's Marciano Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute Necaettin İlseven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Paulino Nesto put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcos Cotilla. 96 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Kuncho Agüero came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Firmat Foot Ball Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
