Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Rogelio Romo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Firmat Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuncho Agüero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Haroldo Maju made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Rogelio Romo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Rogelio Romo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Maju in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Haroldo Maju who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Haroldo Maju put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Maju in the 40th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Haroldo Maju notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Maju in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Kuncho Agüero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Benito Sanz was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Haroldo Maju capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haroldo Maju really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 58 minutes into the match, Necaettin İlseven dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 0-9. Marciano Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Maju came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Haroldo Maju kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute, Haroldo Maju left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Firmat Foot Ball Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. After 73 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. In the 75th minute, Necaettin İlseven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haroldo Maju received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Haroldo Maju slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 76th minute. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Haroldo Maju showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 81 minute of play. In the 86th minute Kuncho Agüero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Romo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. Kuncho Agüero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Paulino Nesto sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Firmat Foot Ball Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
