Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Canobolas's Ignacio Manuel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benjy Nelson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Canobolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Sanderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Benjy Nelson rounded El Salvador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjy Nelson in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Irwin Thomas in the 26th minute. When %teams%'s Irwin Thomas was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 27 minutes into the game. Ricardo Zorita was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. 32 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Irwin Thomas came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Manuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irwin Thomas in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Irwin Thomas notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Irwin Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 53 minutes, Benjy Nelson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canobolas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjy Nelson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irwin Thomas in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 58th minute. Benjy Nelson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes in the game Matthew Sanderson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Benjy Nelson. In the 66th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Yepes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nathaniel Moorby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Manuel in the 72nd minute of play. Cooper Dry made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Benjy Nelson. 92 minutes in the game Matthew Sanderson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Benjy Nelson. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Canobolas fully deserved thier win.
