Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Santikurtz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Kiliz in the 16th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bello Tajo in the 17th minute of play. Modesto Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Miralles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute of the match Panama got a corner. Diego Eterno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Panama's Tomas Berganza got a free kick in the 21st minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Modesto Santikurtz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Abraham Alguacil, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Modesto Santikurtz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Santikurtz having to interfere. The supporters of Panama booed when Diego Eterno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Fulanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 69th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Diego Eterno got a freekick which was hit by Adan Piarres. 90 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Diego Eterno's Modesto Santikurtz. Modesto Santikurtz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 98 minutes, Diego Armando Lio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diego Eterno and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Diego Eterno getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Diego Armando Lio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Diego Eterno's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Santikurtz came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panama walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
