In the 28th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Silvestri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosimo Laudadio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. The supporters of Peru booed when SPALLETTE RETURNS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Biagetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Luca Pellegrini with Augusto Bevilacqua as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
