Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kyle Davies kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Cordara in the 3rd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Jakobe in the 4th minute of the match. After 6 minutes, Tadeo Jakobe made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Maura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Mattias Wallengren made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 15 minutes into the game, Harvey Doyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newell´s the free kick. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Harvey Doyle got a free kick in the 15th minute. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Wallengren in the 19th minute of the match. Omar Cordara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Doyle to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Tadeo Jakobe made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 27thth minute of the game Tadeo Jakobe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Mattias Wallengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newell´s fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Harvey Doyle put in a rough tackle. In the 33rd minute, Harvey Doyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Indiana Turban took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When Mattias Wallengren came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Newell´s fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Wallengren couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Rocco Owen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Mattias Wallengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 played minutes, Newell´s's Indiana Turban shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Barrett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newell´s reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Cordara in the 48th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Curacao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Newell´s were winning 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeo Jakobe to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tadeo Jakobe notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Newell´s's Bruno Barrett threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tadeo Jakobe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kyle Davies charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kyle Davies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Kyle Davies hit a great ball. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Jakobe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Bruno Barrett managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Newell´s's Amancio Bilintx fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Curacao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Isidoro Ramires scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Barrett, making the score, 0-8. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Maura in the 68th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Tadeo Jakobe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amancio Bilintxs short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Bruno Barrett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Omar Cordara sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Amancio Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. Amancio Bilintx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Newell´s's Amancio Bilintx got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Indiana Turban made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Amancio Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Tadeo Jakobe put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newell´s were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
