Karl-Michael Brask's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Paraguay's Xavier Zoido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karl-Michael Brask in the 7 minute of the game. When Xerxes Doro came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xerxes Doro couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Brask got free with Jacobo Nores in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were awarded a corner. Paul Stoian went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's corner Paul Stoian fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacobo Nores quite easily take care of the ball. Paraguay's Juan Diego Tenorio suffered a sore foot after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rareș Hănescu's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rareș Hănescu helped the player get up and apologised. Paraguay made a substitution. Marco Romero replaced Juan Diego Tenorio. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rareș Hănescu hit a great ball. In the 28th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Contra to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match Jaime Pardo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Peter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Raul Venegas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Paul Stoian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Paul Stoian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wagner Doro in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Karl-Michael Brask's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After 64 minutes of play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Wagner Doro made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Wagner Doro in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano. Adrian Isăilă kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Brask in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Wagner Doro came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Wagner Doro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wagner Doro in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Karl-Michael Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 88th minute. Karl-Michael Brask recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
