Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Li's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Shi Li blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Li in the 8th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Shi Li notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Shi Li fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Sven-Åke Ré hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. 27 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Li came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Santino Seco immediately put the ball in play. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Octavian Soare threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute, Valeriu Zdrobiş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Axel Montenegro in the 38th minute really tested Octavian Soare's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Ianis Man kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 45th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Soare was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Axel Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Axel Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. After the first half Galati Harbour Cats were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Soare was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57thth minute of the game Shi Li who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 59 in the game by Shi Li from a close distance when the talented Pedro Manzanares managed to make a qualified save. Colombia's players were relieved. After having played for 60 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascual Carballar might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavian Soare. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Carballar ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galati Harbour Cats's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Mastache was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Orlando Tafalla was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shi Li in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Shi Li took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Colombia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ianis Man 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ianis Man in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 90th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Soare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 92nd minute of the match. Abram Secada took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Soare. Octavian Soare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-6.
