Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Pardo started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the game, Eleven Nation Army's Helge Brun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 6th minute. Åke Ekelund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Helge Brun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helge Brun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Helge Brun came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Eleven Nation Army fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Brun couldn't finish the play. Viggo Lundkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After 24 minutes of play, Eleven Nation Army's Helge Brun made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Viggo Lundkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Viggo Lundkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Prats to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Helge Brun made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The audience was convinced that Helge Brun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Brun came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viggo Lundkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Eleven Nation Army's Helge Brun. But to his dismay, Helge Brun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Helge Brun to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Hector Covarrubias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. A hard shot 56 in the game by Helge Brun from a close distance when the talented Jacobo Nores managed to make a qualified save. Paraguay's players were relieved. In the 58th minute Viggo Lundkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helge Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Helge Brun. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Helge Brun put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. 76 minutes into the game, Åke Ekelund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores. Åke Ekelund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. Helge Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Helge Brun came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Eleven Nation Army fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Brun couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Helge Brun in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Eleven Nation Army left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paraguay.
