Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Naelio in the 18th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivér Khan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th play minute Maximiliano Naelio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dante Lacasa. 2-1. Ferdinand Acevedo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 34th minute. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Platense es de Primera!!'s Olivér Khan managed to reach the ball for a save. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olivér Khan. Olivér Khan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olivér Khan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Maximiliano Naelio made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Olivér Khan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivér Khan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Platense es de Primera!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Acevedo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 73 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Olivér Khan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 76th minute of play forced Platense es de Primera!!'s goalkeeper Olivér Khan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olivér Khan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mexico's Luca Zorita in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Platense es de Primera!!'s goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Platense es de Primera!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Olivér Khan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Moises Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Platense es de Primera!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Su to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Platense es de Primera!! booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
