Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute of the match USA got a corner. Galati Harbour Cats's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Shi Li recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Cassius Byrne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Dembkowski in the 28th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Octavian Soare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jenson Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, USA's Cassius Byrne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavian Soare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Cassius Byrne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of USA booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mo Yuan Fan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shi Li to make the kick off. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Cassius Byrne got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 58th minute of the match. USA's Jacob May quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iordache Negrițoiu, made in the 60th minute of the game. Octavian Soare made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Mo Yuan Fan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. After 76 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Mo Yuan Fan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 81st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Soare made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Ianis Man shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Galati Harbour Cats fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
