Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Li in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jax Williamson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rohan Watson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavian Soare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dan Petrescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Galati Harbour Cats's players had a chance to rest. Rohan Watson scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavian Soare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Harris in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Alfred John threw the ball into play from the sideline. Galati Harbour Cats's Dan Petrescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute Galati Harbour Cats were awarded a corner. Dan Petrescu went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Canada getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nate Mills hit a great ball. Jax Williamson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dan Petrescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 47th minute, Rohan Watson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavian Soare was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koby Wright stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Octavian Soare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter George in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Koby Wright notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare. Octavian Soare was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shi Li during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Shi Li. The corner ended in Jan Dixon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare did a great save. In the 75th minute of the match, Filip Edwards tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Octavian Soare saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Filip Edwards sped through Galati Harbour Cats's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Octavian Soare. 84 minutes into the game, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jax Williamson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Li in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Burton scored 3-6 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavian Soare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 97th minute, Theo Burton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-7. When the match was over Canada could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galati Harbour Cats throughout the match.
