In the 17th minute of the match, Simonas Šidlauskas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 24 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zigmas Boruta. 29 minutes into the match, Miguel Miralles notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC KOMETA's Ignas Žemaitis. Ignas Žemaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 45th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC KOMETA's Vismantas Garnys got a free kick in the 51st minute. Panama's Abraham Alguacil shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 51st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ignas Žemaitis but with some difficulty. Deimantas Valys charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ignas Žemaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignas Žemaitis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deimantas Valys in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC KOMETA's Deimantas Valys fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. In the 95th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ignas Žemaitis. The goal made the score 3-3.
