Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Jacques Mariot came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PSG FC's Mickaël Landreau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save PSG FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Martin Idsøe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Laurent Rouille received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Martin Idsøe made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Idsøe made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Laurent Rouille ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Martin Idsøe might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Idsøe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66thth minute of the game Martin Idsøe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Martin Idsøe in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. The crowd rose to their feet as Laurent Rouille kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Nores. That made the score 0-8 in the 74 minute of play. PSG FC's Laurent Rouille got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, PSG FC's Martin Idsøe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. 83 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Idsøe. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 89th play minutes Martin Idsøe shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Jacobo Nores and just under the crossbar into goal. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Idsøe in the 93rd minute of the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurent Rouille. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PSG FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
