Corneliu Dridu might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corneliu Dridu ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the game, Corneliu Dridu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 minutes, Abram Sarmiento made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dr Lecter SC's Ma Wei Jun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Axel Montenegro, made in the 18th minute of the game. Corneliu Dridu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Celso Trevisan made a huge save. Corneliu Dridu scored 1-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celso Trevisan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abram Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 28 minute of play. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Dr Lecter SC from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omid Kaulbach in the 34th minute of play. Dr Lecter SC's Tihomir Donevski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orlando Tafalla in the 35 minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 37th minute of the match. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celso Trevisan came out and tried to block the shot, but Abram Sarmiento slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 39th minute. Corneliu Dridu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 45th minute of play. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Trevisan. Celso Trevisan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3.

The wind increased when Corneliu Dridu made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Colombia booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-5. Dr Lecter SC's Wanderson Fernandez was substituted for Omid Kaulbach. Corneliu Dridu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
