Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Monsalvo's Edvaldo Senna got a free kick in the 4th minute. Andres Ariando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 10th minute. Monsalvo's Andres Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Facundo Cadaval during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Monsalvo booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Martxelin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Monsalvo's Andres Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Monsalvo's Lisandro Nafarroa. But to his dismay, Lisandro Nafarroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Nafarroa came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Apolo Martxelin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Monsalvo's corner Apolo Martxelin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Ekhi came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Paulino Ekhi made the kick off in the second half. Andres Ariando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 55 played minutes Monsalvo got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Senna. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Ariando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lisandro Nafarroa took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 81 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres Ariando. Monsalvo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 89th minute of play forced Monsalvo's goalkeeper Andres Ariando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Ariando having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Monsalvo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
