The referee ignored Greenbay's protests and gave Jamal Sills a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Greenbay getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jamal Sills hit a great ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Greenbay's goalkeeper Brian Webb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brian Webb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Stair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Karlus Waugh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Brian Webb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Greenbay booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kordal Duff didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Finlay Stair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 32nd minute of the match Jamal Sills completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jamal Sills a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leron Sale in the 35th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Brian Webb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Finlay Stair made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Greenbay's Brian Webb got control of the ball when Jarell Hill tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Finlay Stair got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Greenbay's Brian Webb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Greenbay from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Finlay Stair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brian Webb. Greenbay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Finlay Stair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Greenbay's Brian Webb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 75th minute of play. Brian Webb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarell Hill in the 76th minute. In the 83rd minute, Romon Oliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Finlay Stair got free with Brian Webb in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Stair came free, but Brian Webb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romon Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Brian Webb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Finlay Stair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Brian Webb made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romon Oliver got free with Brian Webb in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Webb having to interfere. When the match was over Jamaica could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Greenbay throughout the match.
