After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Jaroslaw Kaczynski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Yara Poland's Bartosz Komanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Yara Poland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Yara Poland's Bartosz Komanski managed to reach the ball for a save. Bartosz Komanski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Saelices's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Bartosz Komanski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yara Poland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Yara Poland's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Yara Poland's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ziemowit Borcz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Edward Szpakowski hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Yara Poland's John Carew nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Yara Poland made a substitution. Kajetan Gondela replaced Durval Marques. With a little luck, Yara Poland's Bartosz Komanski got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Yara Poland's Ziemowit Borcz in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
