Fabio Savona struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Noel Seide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eleven Young Elephants. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Bueno in the 36th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Seide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darren Carabott went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Alphonse was the one to do the kick off. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatko Zahovič in the 51st minute of play. Qu Peng Kang kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Eleven Young Elephants left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Haiti.
