Villawalter City:s Antonio Canal showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elian Benedicto in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elian Benedicto in the 27th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Canal. Villawalter City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. 74 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Antonio Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gomesano Cayuela took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Elian Benedicto sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Villawalter City were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ecuador's much stronger midfield.
