Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Macias started the match with the kick off. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Joel Macias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Kiliz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Kiliz got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Diego Eterno booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Macias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Pang Xing Chen charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pang Xing Chen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Diego Eterno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pang Xing Chen to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 39th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Santikurtz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Honduras booed when Diego Eterno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Fulanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Diego Eterno's Diego Armando Lio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Armando Lio in the 60 minute of the game. After 63 played minutes Edmundo Espiga rounded Diego Eterno's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Kiliz in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Modesto Santikurtz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Pang Xing Chen kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Lio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modesto Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 82nd minute of play. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Diego Armando Lio in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Modesto Santikurtz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Honduras's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Diego Eterno had won, even though Honduras had held more of the ball.
