With a little luck, Trabzonspor's Timur Ulum got control of the ball when Alex Cambeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trabzonspor's Timur Ulum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute of play. Tomas Berganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hızır Dicle to make the kick off. Timur Ulum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 79th minute. After 80 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timur Ulum was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timur Ulum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 84 minutes, Tomas Berganza made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Trabzonspor's Timur Ulum tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Carita made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Miguel Miralles however managed to control. Timur Ulum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Tomas Berganza scored 10-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timur Ulum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timur Ulum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timur Ulum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Panama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
