Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Berganza got the match started through his kick off. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Mugur Bejan tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blagoy Doro's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blagoy Doro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Panama booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blagoy Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Flavio Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Blagoy Doro got a free kick in the 13th minute. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Peter came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Flavio Peter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Flavio Peter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Panama's Abraham Alguacil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavio Peter. Flavio Peter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Wagner Doro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Flavio Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 38th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Hănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. With an all-out effort, Panama's Flavio Peter threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 46 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Wagner Doro came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Michael Brask to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 64th minute of play. Flavio Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 69th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tauro Doro hit a great ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti made a substitution. Diego Tristan replaced Xerxes Doro. Thanks to some nice moves Wagner Doro could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Marcos Cotilla however easily saved by the left post. After 84 minutes, Felipe Ros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Marin Tufescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 91 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Flavio Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Tufescu in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Peter came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Batalionul U23 Dorobanti would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
