Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 程雄宽 in the 3rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 龚克扬, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mao Yue Fan. 23 minutes into the match, 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but 龚克扬 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. 龚克扬 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 龚克扬. 龚克扬 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when 程雄宽 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. A collision led to 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. 武天烨 hit a great ball. With 46 minutes on the clock, Rigoberto Mina commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 程雄宽 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龚克扬 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qu Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 67th minute, 程雄宽 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. In the 74thth minute of the game 齐迅渊 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mao Yue Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 齐迅渊 in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but 龚克扬 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
