The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristen Gulskov was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 36 played minutes Monks in Robes got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Mæhle. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Ree made a kick off. In the 54th minute Axel Ree shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Ree in the 56th minute of the match.
