The goalkeeper, Ricardo Zorita, was totally fooled by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Xerxes Doro, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 25 minutes, Xerxes Doro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xerxes Doro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wagner Doro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wagner Doro got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 32nd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Xerxes Doro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Wagner Doro.

In the 61st minute Karl-Michael Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Rareș Hănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Wagner Doro scored 5-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 71st minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wagner Doro went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Wagner Doro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wagner Doro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 81st match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xerxes Doro to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Contra. 92 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Brask notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
