When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Edmundo Espiga sped through 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 龚克扬. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 武天烨 in the 39 minute of the game. After 45 minutes of play 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队's 孔坤昆 was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 孔坤昆 kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when 程雄宽 made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that 齐迅渊's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 齐迅渊 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 74th minute of play forced 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队's goalkeeper 龚克扬 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 齐迅渊's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, 程雄宽 made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队 fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队's 程雄宽 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队 had won after a very even match.
