With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Bihar in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Benedicto Bihar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC from getting a goal against them. Marcel Méjean kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Batıkan Muhsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. 27 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Batıkan Muhsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Benedicto Bihar. But to his dismay, Benedicto Bihar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Robustiano Eron was substituted for Lorenzo James. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC from getting a goal against them. After 39 played minutes, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Seçkin Öksüzoğlu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thiago Pliego came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC reached it. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Batıkan Muhsin. Batıkan Muhsin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Bihar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Benedicto Bihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Fontirroig. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 66th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Batıkan Muhsin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Batıkan Muhsin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Marcel Méjean hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıkan Muhsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin. Batıkan Muhsin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 84th minute of play. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Aykut Canel was substituted for Benedicto Bihar. Chile's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
