Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emilio Machado took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Emilio Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Felix Donciu made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Machado in the 14th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Machado went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Joélson Amaral hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Werneck FC - DMZ's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Donciu came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Machado in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Emilio Machado took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Machado came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute Emilio Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Werneck FC - DMZ's Felix Donciu got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Diamantino Andrade hit a great ball. After the first half Werneck FC - DMZ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Werneck FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Werneck FC - DMZ's Emilio Machado pulled a muscle in his leg after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rigoberto Mina charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Mina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Diamantino Andrade hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Zé Paulo Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diamantino Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Werneck FC - DMZ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Luz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Luz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-5 after 81 minutes of play. Zé Paulo Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Felix Donciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Venezuela lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
