The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play forced LA IMPRENTA's goalkeeper Bernardino Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Bertoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to LA IMPRENTA getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alvaro Loria hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced LA IMPRENTA's goalkeeper Bernardino Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Espiridion in the 55th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Espiridion, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd minute, Elpidio Espiridion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardino Mark having to make a save. LA IMPRENTA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Liu Chang Hong in the 70th minute. But to his dismay, Bruno Sepúlveda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save LA IMPRENTA from getting a goal against them. Bernardino Mark didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Elpidio Espiridion scored 4-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA IMPRENTA's goalkeeper Bernardino Mark, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save LA IMPRENTA from getting a goal against them. In the 90th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Liu Chang Hong who took care of the corner kick. Agustín Saelices charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustín Saelices the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute Liu Chang Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
