When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vanadio F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulin Sequeiros having to make a save. Paulin Sequeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gordon Suarez in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. After 17 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Errapel Hernando. When Gordon Suarez came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Vanadio F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gordon Suarez couldn't finish the play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Gordon Suarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Paulin Sequeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute of the match. Vanadio F.C.'s Errapel Hernando quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 27th minute of the game. Paulin Sequeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Vanadio F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. Luis Cazalla was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vanadio F.C.'s Leizarraga Olmedo was substituted for 邵飞思. Pascual Carballar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Paulin Sequeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 71st minute of the match, Ignacio Mastache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulin Sequeiros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leizarraga Olmedo in the 72nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Bekir Çağan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Leizarraga Olmedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vanadio F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leizarraga Olmedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leizarraga Olmedo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Colombia's Abram Secada managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Xaime Abar in the 82 minute of the game. Ignacio Mastache struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Paulin Sequeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Bekir Çağan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Carballar. When Leizarraga Olmedo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Vanadio F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leizarraga Olmedo couldn't finish the play.
