Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bai Kun De having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Baba Ali Factor in the 38th minute of play. Dennis Baggio hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ramón Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Supremacy Catania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Dave Di Gregorio put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manzanares. 73 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Di Gregorio came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Supremacy Catania FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
