After 7 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gunnar Pettersson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Toby Tielemans almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. Mämmädbağır Svensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 11th minute. Arkın Öğüç might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arkın Öğüç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Mämmädbağır Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, USA's Cassius Byrne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mämmädbağır Svensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ma Yun Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Day showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Forss, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Mämmädbağır Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Mämmädbağır Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mämmädbağır Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mämmädbağır Svensson. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Monty Rogers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. USA had played much better football throughout.
