After 21 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Salerno. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Patryk Siekierski could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brian Blanco during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Swatar United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guo Lin to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Brian Blanco. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patryk Siekierski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Brian Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Swatar United FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Salerno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Swatar United FC's Mario Salerno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patryk Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Swatar United FC's Patryk Siekierski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patryk Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita scored 4-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patryk Siekierski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patryk Siekierski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute, Antonio Arias had to leave the field with a concussion. When Mario Salerno fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swatar United FC's protests and gave Mario Salerno a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Salerno. 68 minutes into the match, Swatar United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Patryk Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Sebastian Pârcălab cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Swatar United FC's Brian Blanco got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. Patryk Siekierski came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Patryk Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes, Cristian Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Swatar United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
