Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Jarno Van Beetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Killian Jones in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 6th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bora Bora the free kick. The supporters of FC Bora Bora booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Mihai Magheru in the 18th minute of play was well struck, but Benito Sanz made a really good save at the right post. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ive Colpaert in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarno Van Beetz got free with Benito Sanz in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basarab Baltian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 30 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basarab Baltian was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC Bora Bora getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Albert Patriciu hit a great ball. Gică Encescu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when FC Bora Bora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ive Colpaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. During the 47th minute of the match Eliseo Noboa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Killian Jones stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. In the 54th minute, Mihai Magheru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Basarab Baltian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorin Chițu's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sorin Chițu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Bora Bora getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sorin Chițu hit a great ball. After 66 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basarab Baltian was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 76 minutes, Lautaro Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the FC Bora Bora players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ive Colpaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Basarab Baltian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 minutes of play, FC Bora Bora's Killian Jones made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Killian Jones in the 91st minute of the match. Killian Jones struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bora Bora. Despite being the better team, FC Bora Bora failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
