In the 13th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Tudor Mihoc. Buitenhout FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Buitenhout FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjaak Degens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Ramzinski went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Buitenhout FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
