Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stavros Antzas took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play forced ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's goalkeeper Omiros Ntounos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omiros Ntounos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Omiros Ntounos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stavros Antzas in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Farid Delecroix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Farid Delecroix really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Adamantios Akrivos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. Omiros Ntounos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stavros Antzas in the 24th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adamantios Akrivos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Stavros Antzas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Stavros Antzas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorotheos Frantzeskos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 42nd minute of play forced ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's goalkeeper Omiros Ntounos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omiros Ntounos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Omiros Ntounos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's goalkeeper Omiros Ntounos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Andino. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Stavros Antzas sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Omiros Ntounos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farid Delecroix in the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Christodoulos Kolokithas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 70th minute, Christodoulos Kolokithas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ made a substitution. Thanasis Vouzakis replaced Farid Delecroix. After 71 played minutes ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ got a freekick which was hit by Christodoulos Kolokithas. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ got a freekick which was hit by Adamantios Akrivos. 88 minutes into the match, ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Omiros Ntounos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
