Tytus Wyrzykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. Tytus Wyrzykowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Tytus Wyrzykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Ståhlberg in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tytus Wyrzykowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Almaröds FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Juan Sebastián Puig to score against Tytus Wyrzykowski in Almaröds FF's goal. 0-1 after 39 minutes. Tytus Wyrzykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikael Ståhlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikael Ståhlberg scored 1-1 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55th play minutes Mikael Ståhlberg shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Marcos went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Tytus Wyrzykowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute, Jens-Erik Vennerström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho scored 3-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tytus Wyrzykowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tytus Wyrzykowski saved Almaröds FF from getting behind. 87 minutes in the game, Daniel Zorita fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tytus Wyrzykowski having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Andino in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tytus Wyrzykowski saved Almaröds FF from getting behind. Almaröds FF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
