Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sjaak Degens took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Ruud Reinders's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Tudor Mihoc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ferry Hebels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ferry Hebels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruud Reinders charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruud Reinders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruud Reinders hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sjaak Degens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Ruud Reinders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play forced Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Tudor Mihoc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Mihoc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobus Spoel hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, Buitenhout FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannibal Lecter to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Buitenhout FC's Sjaak Degens. But to his dismay, Sjaak Degens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Buitenhout FC's Jacobus Spoel got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Sjaak Degens came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Buitenhout FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sjaak Degens couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tudor Mihoc firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Mihoc having to interfere. Tudor Mihoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Tudor Mihoc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ferry Hebels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
