In the 15th minute Mikael Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Tytus Wyrzykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Mikael Ståhlberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Mikael Ståhlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikael Ståhlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Ståhlberg came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Mikael Ståhlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almaröds FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Ståhlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Chicote made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Salvador Gisbert immediately put the ball in play. Mikael Ståhlberg struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almaröds FF. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Ståhlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Almaröds FF's Tytus Wyrzykowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Almaröds FF from getting a goal against them. When Almaröds FF's Mikael Ståhlberg in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tytus Wyrzykowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Alvaro Cremonese came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Almaröds FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Cremonese couldn't finish the play. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. 76 minutes into the match, Mikael Ståhlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikael Ståhlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Ståhlberg in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Almaröds FF's Tytus Wyrzykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 83rd minute of play. Tytus Wyrzykowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant went to the wrong direction when Bruce Willis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Almaröds FF.
