Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) A.C. Patagonia's Ludwig Wassenius started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximino Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Ticho saved A.C. Patagonia from getting behind. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Maximino Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Wos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Dariusz Wos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Bel Panino in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Maximino Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A.C. Patagonia's Ludwig Wassenius got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 18th minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Maximino Ticho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Ticho came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 24th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Bel Panino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 29th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Maximino Ticho. A.C. Patagonia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Wos came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Wos in the 38th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Ticho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After the first half Peru were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.C. Patagonia's Horea Boian was substituted for Ludwig Wassenius. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Di Carlo in the 58th minute of play. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Rui Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 65th minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Maximino Ticho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes A.C. Patagonia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Julian Murillo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Maximino Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 70th minute of play. Maximino Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A.C. Patagonia's Maximino Ticho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save A.C. Patagonia from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Sroka in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Sylwester Sroka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Maximino Ticho made a huge save. In the 80th minute of the game Amerigo Ianni made a throw-in which Horea Boian played forward. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. 93 minutes into the match, Aldo Di Carlo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
