Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaud Konieczny in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Norbert Cadart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herblay's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Cadart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Konieczny came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaud Konieczny's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Ludomil Kajdasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Antonin Dagorne sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Bougault in the 32nd minute of play. If Norbert Cadart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaud Konieczny succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. After having played for 40 minutes, Arnaud Konieczny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herblay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaud Konieczny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Dimitri Bougault notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Antonin Dagorne sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Arnaud Konieczny could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Ludomil Kajdasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomil Kajdasz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 80th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Ludomil Kajdasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaud Konieczny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Arnaud Konieczny in the 93rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
