The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ludomil Kajdasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Arnaud Konieczny had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ludomil Kajdasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of the match. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnaud Konieczny showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. When Norbert Cadart came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Herblay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Cadart couldn't finish the play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Norbert Cadart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludomil Kajdasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arnaud Konieczny came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Herblay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaud Konieczny couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonin Dagorne.

Norbert Cadart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ludomil Kajdasz. The goal made the score 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaud Konieczny in the 61st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaud Konieczny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ludomil Kajdasz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Herblay's Ludomil Kajdasz got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dimitri Bougault hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Herblay were awarded a corner. Dimitri Bougault went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaud Konieczny, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Arnaud Konieczny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
