An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 2nd minute of play forced Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Mämmädbağır Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mämmädbağır Svensson saved Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK from getting behind. Mämmädbağır Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, USA's Monty Rogers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mämmädbağır Svensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arkın Öğüç struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK. Mämmädbağır Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 23rd minute of play. In the 31st minute, Jacob May fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mämmädbağır Svensson, passed just outside the right post. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK made a substitution. Joakim Forss replaced Michael Karlsson. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joakim Forss's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Vintilă Lipoveanu got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Mämmädbağır Svensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK from getting a goal against them. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkın Öğüç in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Joakim Forss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arkın Öğüç went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arkın Öğüç made a kick off. If Arkın Öğüç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Arkın Öğüç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Mämmädbağır Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Ingemar Flink was substituted for Nicholas Bokvist. In the 89th minute, Sam Campbell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Joakim Forss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Joakim Forss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ma Yun Kun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The USA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
