Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Toni Akwa started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Caneças, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balduíno Flores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After taking down the ball on Carrapichel Angolano's corner Maurício Mendes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Maurício Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balduíno Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Carrapichel Angolano's Tiago Caneças ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Balduíno Flores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st match minute, Carrapichel Angolano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Canales to maneuver through the defense. Balduíno Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 44th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Toni Akwa could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. After 46 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Akwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Akwa came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abel Carballo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Costa Rica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abel Carballo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Viveque Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tiago Caneças struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrapichel Angolano. Emílio Canales's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emílio Canales helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Carrapichel Angolano got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Canales. After 84 played minutes Carrapichel Angolano got a freekick which was hit by Viveque Gonçalves. Axel Tasis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Balduíno Flores having to make a save. Toni Akwa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Toni Akwa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Akwa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carrapichel Angolano fully deserved thier win.
