Olimpiu Hârlău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Yu Feng Xi sent off a good shot on target. After 6 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Ciulei. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olimpiu Hârlău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Mihnea Ionițoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Facundo Cadaval almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău did a great save. 19 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Yu Feng Xi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Mihnea Ionițoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Mugur Timofte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpathian Wolves and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olimpiu Hârlău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 72nd minute. In the 89th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Hârlău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Thorstein in the 95th minute of play. The Carpathian Wolves supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
